The sender writes:
We had a very nice time, water nice with big waves.  Renee was very very good except for awaking at 7 AM everyday.  She loved the sand and wading with assistance.  It was too rough to get her out as I did.

This postcard is from 1974.

Long Beach Island is a barrier island along the Atlantic Ocean coast in New Jersey, USA.

The island is home to about 20,000 people on a year-round basis. However, the island's population swells significantly during the summer months and reaches about 100,000 people, including part-time residents and tourists, who are often referred to as "shoobies".
